■ Installation in multi-story parking lots
In the development of EV charging infrastructure for the spread of EVs, it is essential that multi-story parking lots be equipped with regular EV chargers. However, due to wiring and space issues, installation of EV chargers in multi-story parking lots is not widespread. In this situation, Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kogyo has installed “Ella” on the first floor of the Kyokuto Kaihatsu Group headquarters building, drawing attention to the fact that it is the smallest* EV charger in Japan, that it can be installed even in the limited space of a multi-level parking garage, and that its design has won the Good Design Award.
