Ltd. (“VVDN”), a major Indian product engineering company. The two companies aim for global collaboration, starting with India’s expanding EV charging market, and expanding to ASEAN countries, the Middle East, and Europe. This partnership combines Jigowatts’ “hardware + software” solutions with VVDN’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and local network, aiming to establish high-quality, low-cost EV charging environments in more regions.

This marks the second press release regarding Jigowatts’ overseas expansion, following the strategic partnership agreement with a Vietnamese company announced on March 3, 2025.

Expansion and Importance of the Indian EV Charging Market

The Indian government has set a goal of “30% of vehicle sales to be EVs by 2030” and is strengthening support measures, including infrastructure development. From 2024 onwards, the number of charging stations is expected to accelerate rapidly, with the charging infrastructure market predicted to grow at an average annual rate of 30-40% or more.

In February 2025, Jigowatts entered into a strategic partnership agreement with VVDN for the manufacturing and global expansion of EV chargers developed by Jigowatts. By combining Jigowatts’ “hardware + software” solution technology with VVDN’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and local network, the companies aim to gradually expand their deployment not only within India but also across ASEAN, the Middle East, Europe, and other regions.

Moving forward, alongside mass production and widespread adoption in India, Jigowatts plans to expand the technology and operational know-how cultivated in the Indian market to other regions.
